What do I need to provide?
Your surname, a gender preference (boy / girl / any), and at least one vibe tag. Heritage influences, deal-breakers, and existing kids’ names are optional but make the list more personal. The free preview above lets you see one name before you pay anything.
Do you guarantee the meanings are accurate?
Each origin/meaning blurb reflects the most widely-attested etymology and is checked against a hedge-phrase blocklist before it ships. We still recommend you verify before any final naming decision — etymologies often have layered histories and we want you to feel sure.
Will you suggest celebrity or brand-name matches?
No. The system explicitly avoids celebrity full-name matches and trademarked brand names. You can also add specific deal-breakers (e.g. “no James”) and the validator will enforce them.
